Mercenary Air has long been known to hang with some characaters of obvious questionable character...and hanging might be the best description of what most folks would like to do with one MRC_Rat.

Rat was not always a Rat...at one time he was a "Pak Rat". Not much difference between the two other than he now gets paid for what he used to do for free....NOTHING!

Rat was born in some Jersey swamp that is now covered over with a parking lot. At a young age, it was decided by Dad Rat that he should venture to the city to further his education. This is what landed him at the esteemed Rat education facility known as "Al Parts, New and Used", also located on some reclaimed swamp. (You never knew Jersey had so many swamps didja.) Although everything looked pretty formidable, Rat crawled under the back fence and made his way in, looking for the "Teacher".

"Be right with ya son, as soon as I finish with these turtles" were the first words Rat heard from his new teacher. "Waddya Want?" were the second words. "Hope you don't have some stupid idea about learning karate like those idiot turtles that just left."

"Do you teach karate?" asked Rat.
"No, but I told em I did and then sent em out to save the world." "What can I do for you?"
"Well...I need to be educated" replied Rat.
"Yea...you sure do! Look here, sign this 16 year servitude contract and I'll make you the smartest Rat in your immediate family!" And thus was the education of MRC_Rat commenced.

Rat learned his lessons well...no hubcap was safe from the Rat once he set his eyes on it. This of course made Al very rich and was the decisive factor in Al's decision to not get any cats. Sometime during his "education" Rat set his eyes on being a pilot...and it was this action that garnered the attention of the hubcap deprived Mercenary Air. The MRCs have often been accused of being rats, and now that the Non-Squad has one, these unfounded rumors are now founded.

MRC_Rat is a vicious pilot, especially when cornered, and has invented several new manuevers. Most notable among these manuevers is the Rat-Roll. This manuever has to be seen to be believed, and the method he employs to get others to do the Rat-Roll are legendary and defy description. A devious combination of an uncontrolled spin combined with smoke and flames and an uncanny knack of almost getting control back before hitting the ground...these are the signs of a successfully completed Rat-Roll.

If you should "run into" MRC_Rat while flying (or. as more often the case.. He runs into You!), tell him to write home once in awhile. Daddy Rat is wondering about him....
